Everything You Want to Know About Health
  • The lungs and big intestines are closely linked. Both fall sick together.

  • There are hardly any signs of the liver in pain. The first symptom of many cancers though is a sick liver.

  • Liver not only filters all the toxins but also fights all viruses which attack the body.

  • Because they eat a lot of meat and foods rich in fat, 99% Chinese complain of weak livers.

  • The liver usually repairs all the damages between 11 pm and 3 pm. So when you sleep later than 11 pm or have supper two hours before sleeping, especially with a diet that is high in cholesterol content and rich in fats, the liver does not get time to rest and repair.

  • It is best to eat some fruits or vegetables if you are very hungry before bedtime. Meat takes usually 4 hours and meat cooked in oil takes about 12 hours to digest before it enters the intestines. These foods make the liver to overwork to filter the toxins. This makes you very tired and lethargic when you get up in the morning.

  • There is nothing more damaging to the liver than oil.

  • Some foods which are good for the body include: Cold-pressed Olive oil, carrot, cucumber, raw chili, garlic, onion, and little bamboo salt/sea-salt, radish, pumpkin and small fish. Sesame oil is also good.

  • Foods which are detrimental to liver health include: food-preservatives, food colorings, Bee Honey processed with Aluminum (causes Dementia), bleach and syrup. Foods cooked in the microwave lose all its nutrients due to radiation.

  • While western medicines are bad for the liver, Chinese medication is detrimental for the kidney, which can be rectified with white radish.

  • Memory and intelligence is lowered in children who sleep late.

  • The time between 9 and 11 pm is the best time to go to sleep especially for people who are sick or in a recovery stage. Liver needs lots of rest. If you use eye-cover at night, use cotton only, and not any cover made from rubber or latex.

  • For overall health maintenance, rely on natural fresh foods which are also best for the liver. Canned or packed foods do not contain any of the natural nutrients which are available in fresh foods. If you go on a detoxification diet, you can help your liver and intestines recover fast.

  • Keeping a healthy and happy mind is the key to good health. Stress, depression, pessimism, anger and irritation further weaken the body’s internal systems. People who have a weak liver are usually irritable and angry.

  • Belching, perspiration and passing urine help us get the toxins out of the body. Overuse of air conditioners prevents perspiration which increases the load on the liver. You could try opening the windows to let in fresh air.

  • Soaking any body part which is in pain in warm water helps in the alleviation of pain. Soak your body up to waist level only and higher, if you have heart problems. This may stimulate the heart negatively.

  • Food items like brown rice, wheat, oats, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yam and maize must be bought with caution as they usually contain pesticides. Though maize and brown rice are rich in vitamin B complex, you must exercise caution. Organic foods, though costlier, are a better alternative.

  • People with Blood Group A have higher risks of cancer.

  • Similarly, people with O type blood are prone to liver diseases.

  • Women are more even tempered as their monthly menstrual cycle helps them to expel all pent up angers. Women also live longer because of this. If angry, it is better not to talk at that point in time. Instead breathe slowly for 7 times.

  • Fat people would be prone to health problems affecting their liver, heart and digestive system. This is because they eat a lot of meat and foods rich in cholesterol and fat.

  • Too much meat or foods rich in fat can lead to various gastric problems.

  • The heart and uterus are closely linked. Drinking 3000 to 4000 cc of good clean water will keep both healthy.

  • X-Rays and CT scans damage the body’s essential cells and further weaken the body. If cancer is detected it is wise to take a second opinion before any surgery is undertaken. Liver diseases get aggravated with medication. Go for a detoxification diet, sleep by 9 in the night and help the liver to recover on its own.

  • Good detoxification agents are vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. The other detoxifying agent is water which must be drunk between 3000 and 4000 cc every day to keep the liver in good condition.

  • To prevent the intestines from absorbing all the toxins in the body, it is best for bowel movement between 5 and 7 am in the morning. The more the intestine absorbs the waste material, sicker the body becomes.

  • To stop itchy scalp, try kelp powder mixed with water.

  • Stones in the gall bladder, liver and brain are caused by accumulated toxic material from animal protein and oily foods.

  • Calcium and iron fortify the kidney and bladder.

  • Anyone with a mild liver or kidney problem should only eat fish and beans after 4 months of a detoxification diet.

  • One of the early signs of liver and glass bladder problem is when the white of the eye turns yellow.

  • Good foods for the brain and heart: red vegetables and fruits.

  • Though yellow fruits and vegetables are good for digestion, you have to be careful as cabbages and bananas may contain pesticides.

  • There is nothing wrong with low blood pressure, so long as the person is healthy.

  • When blood toxins are unable to get purged out, people get pimples.

  • The best time to exercise is in the morning when there is plenty of oxygen in the air. Night time is not recommended as there is more carbon dioxide in the air at this time. After 40, only light exercises are recommended like walking.

  • Headaches could be a sign of low oxygen supply from the heart.

  • Black tint under the eye means weak kidney and liver.

  • Diet rich in vitamin C, kelp along with a detoxification diet can be good for solving arthritis problems.

  • Sea cucumber or salty foods are too avoided by people suffering from breast or uterine cancer.

  • Fruits which are high in water content are easier to digest.

  • There is no alternative to exercise when it comes to maintaining a healthy heart.

  • Try to live with as less electrical appliances as possible as they are great sources for radiation which can completely ruin your health. Appliances like television, radio, sound systems, etc should not be kept in the bedroom as these do not allow you to have a good night’s rest. Children also should not spend too much time surfing the net or watch TV for too long as radiation from these appliances cause memory and intelligence loss. There should not be too many lights in your house or they too can cause damage to your body, especially if you are not a very fit or healthy person.

  • For truly healthy cooking, use only stainless, ceramic (without lead), glass utensils. This applies to your eating utensils also. While aluminum causes dementia in the long run, non-stick cooking wares are also dangerous as the coating slowly gets into your food. Always use water to cook your food lightly as over cooking makes the foods lose all the essential nutrients.
